We LOVE Pizza night at our house. My kids LOVE homemade pizza. I cook pork sausage and crumble it. We have sausage with sweet banana peppers and of course all time fav, cheese pizza!

This is such a fitting giveaway for you, considering that I will be starting a "family blog" in the upcoming weeks!

There's so much to be said for family time.  Our kids run the show.  With the price of some of the local family entertainment, this was a wonderful welcome to our front door!

Pizza night for our family is usually a no-fuss night, perhaps one where we are implementing our Bible Study Family Night for the week, and we eat off of the dreaded paper dinnerware!  It was wonderful to have our favorite thin crust pizza baked in our oven!

There's more to love about family pizza night at the Bradley house than just eating the pizza...Paige and Marshall are my little chefs, and just love to put the pepperoni slices on for themselves.  I try to let them, but sometimes, I'd love to have the pepperoni equally spread across the WHOLE pie, not just on the "Pepperoni Man's" hair!!

A new blog - hopefully you'll like it.

I haven't been posting.  And I will admit that lately I've really wanted to start a family blog.  So, today, after much much thinking and pondering and researching, we agreed on a name and address.

Our new family blog will be "The Bradleys Break Through" at www.thebradleysbreakthrough.blogspot.com.

I hope that you will follow us there.  We'll be working on the site, getting it laid out - you can watch for updates!  When I'm ready to begin posting there, I'll let you know for sure on this blog page.  I will set up a new RSS feed, and hopefully you will get to know Justin a little better.  I'm hoping that he'll be more than happy to write a few posts for you!

Wordless Wednesday - Justin

I don't think I've ever really blogged about Justin.  I don't know why...I see him every single day and love being with him...I've just never shared much with you about him!!

I don't know if you've seen my little ticker at the bottom of my blog - but it tracks our "married life."  But a lot of you don't know that it goes back much much farther than just 5 years.

That story will be another entry on another day, but right now I just wanted to post how happy I am to call him my best friend...my husband...the love of my life.  He's the best father and I hope that he reads this and will know how much my heart belongs to him until the end.

 

Wordless Wednesday - The Adoption

I can honestly say that I never was much of a dog person.  We had dogs when I was a kid, but I always loved cats.  2 years ago, we adopted Bailey (left) when we found him on PetFinder.com.  Justin had never had a dog of his very own that he got to pick out.  Bailey is a Border Collie mix - with what???  Well, we know that he has some Spitz in him because of the black spot on his tongue, but we assume that he has a lot of Lab in him because he is so well natured.  He was about 13 weeks old, and we went through Parvo AND Kennel Cough.  It was awful!!  He chewed up my whole house and I vowed to never ever have another puppy!!

Almost 2 weeks ago, our local news KFVS-12 profiled Callie (but before she was a part of our family, it was spelled Cali), and Justin and I just fell in love with her.  She was at the Sikeston Humane Society.  I went down that day and got her.  The shelter thought that she was a St. Bernard - Border Collie Mix, but Dr. Brian is pretty sure she is Border Collie - Lab (thank goodness, could you imagine how big she'd be???).  Bailey is a good "momma."  They will be wonderful friends and you will probably see us many weekends playing frisbee in the backyard with our 2 dogs. 

And yes, I still do prefer cats.  But I'm finding myself have a very special place in my heart for these 2!!
